Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks offer height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the individual utilizing it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard lift trucks aren't able to move the cargo towards and away from the cab of the forklift, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is usually utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is required.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in cases needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to apply uniform clamping force when picking up a cargo. It comes with a backrest which protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems which don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specifically to raise personnel. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a strap or chain that is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the employees from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
