Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your requirements, while being safe and efficient at the worksite. If both accuracy and precision are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain lift trucks as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been engineered and developed such as booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. For example, load-reach management devices are able to automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used to be able to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device that prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
